Introduction

These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made with Radio Cruise Parking, a trading name of Radio Taxis (Southampton) Ltd. By making a booking through our website or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions:

“We”, “Us”, “Our”

refers to Radio Cruise Parking, operated by Radio Taxis (Southampton) Ltd.

“Booker”

refers specifically to the person making the booking.

“You”, “Your”, “Customer”

refers to the person making the booking and/or using our services.

“Site”

refers to the Radio Cruise Parking facility where vehicles are parked.

“Cruise Terminal”

refers to the designated Southampton cruise port terminal for passenger embarkation and disembarkation.

“Booking”

refers to a confirmed reservation for parking and associated services.

“Optional Extras”

refers to additional services offered beyond standard parking and shuttle transfer, including EV charging, car washing, Sure Start, car cover, and private transfers.

“Shuttle Transfer”

refers to transport provided by us between the parking site and the cruise terminal.

“Arrival Time”

refers to the time slot selected by you during booking for vehicle drop-off.

Booking and Confirmation

All bookings are binding only after confirmation via email. The customer must provide accurate personal and vehicle details. Bookings are non-transferable and apply only to the registered vehicle. Bookers must ensure all passengers are aware of these Terms.

 

All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once you receive a booking confirmation via email. You must ensure that all details provided—such as contact information, vehicle registration, and arrival time—are accurate. Bookings are non-transferable and apply only to the registered vehicle. You must retain your booking confirmation and be prepared to present it upon request.

 

The Booker is responsible for ensuring that all passengers included in the booking are made aware of these Terms and Conditions. By proceeding with the booking, the Booker confirms that they have communicated the relevant terms to all accompanying passengers and that those passengers accept and agree to abide by them.

Payment and Pricing

All payments are processed securely via Stripe (PCI-compliant). Pricing may change but confirmed bookings are fixed. Refunds are only provided according to the cancellation policy.

 

Prices displayed on our website are inclusive of VAT and cover parking and shuttle transfers for up to four passengers. Additional passengers may incur a surcharge. Optional services such as EV charging, car washing, and private transfers are available at extra cost and must be selected during booking. Full payment is required at the time of booking. We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time, although confirmed bookings will not be affected.

Amendments and Cancellations

Cancellation requests must be submitted via email or phone. Refunds are only provided according to the policy: free up to 24 hours before arrival; late cancellations may not be refunded.

 

You may cancel your booking free of charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled arrival. Cancellations made within 24 hours of arrival may not be eligible for a refund. Amendments to bookings, including changes to vehicle registration, can be made free of charge prior to arrival and are subject to verification and availability.

 

Refunds will not be issued for early departures, unused services, or failure to arrive on your provided booking dates.

Arrival Procedure

Upon arrival at our parking facility, please make yourself known to a member of staff. You will be asked to hand over your vehicle keys only; please retain any house keys and personal belongings. As part of our check-in procedure, photographs of your vehicle will be taken and the mileage recorded to document its condition at the time of drop-off. Once this process is complete, our shuttle service will transport you and your party to the appropriate cruise terminal.

 

Children must be supervised at all times while on site. All passengers must proceed with care and follow staff instructions, especially in areas with moving vehicles.

Vehicle Requirements

All vehicles must be roadworthy, taxed, insured, and hold a valid MOT certificate. Oversized vehicles, including motorhomes and trailers, must be declared in advance and may incur additional charges. We reserve the right to refuse entry to vehicles that do not meet these requirements or pose a safety risk.

 

Vehicles left beyond the agreed collection date may incur additional charges. We reserve the right to relocate or dispose of vehicles deemed abandoned, following reasonable attempts to contact the registered keeper.

Transfers to and from the Cruise Terminal

Our shuttle service operates between our parking site and the Southampton cruise terminals. Transfers are included for the number of passengers legally permitted to travel in the booker’s vehicle, based on its registered seating capacity. This ensures that the same party size is accommodated during both drop-off and return. We aim to provide timely and efficient transfers, but cannot be held responsible for delays caused by traffic, cruise line schedules, or other external factors. Private transfers are available upon request and are subject to availability.

 

If staff assist with loading or unloading luggage, it remains the customer’s responsibility to ensure all items are accounted for. We accept no liability for loss or damage unless caused by proven negligence.

Site Security and Liability

Vehicles are parked in secure compounds monitored by CCTV and protected by perimeter fencing. Our site is covered by public liability insurance. While we take all reasonable precautions to safeguard your vehicle, Radio Cruise Parking cannot accept liability for:

 

  •  Natural wear and tear, including exposure to weather or bird droppings
  • Battery drainage due to plugged-in devices or vehicle systems
  • Items left inside the vehicle or on site
  • Damage not reported prior to vehicle collection

Customers agree that our liability is limited to proven negligence, and we are not responsible for third-party delays or incidents outside our control.

Any damage must be reported to a member of staff before leaving the premises and supported by photographic evidence. Claims made after departure will not be considered. We reserve the right to inspect the vehicle before accepting any claim.

Optional Services

We offer a range of optional services to enhance your experience and ensure your vehicle is well cared for during your cruise:

 

  • EV Charging: Your electric vehicle will be charged and ready for your return.
  • Car Wash: Interior and exterior cleaning available.
  • Sure Start: A pre-departure vehicle check to ensure readiness.
  • Car Cover: Protect your freshly cleaned vehicle during your cruise.
  • Private Transfer: Available for those seeking a more personalised journey.

These services can be selected during the booking process and are subject to availability. If you prefer, they may also be added and paid for at a later date by speaking directly with a member of our team upon arrival or via customer support prior to your cruise.

Customer Conduct

We expect all customers to treat our staff and other customers with respect. Aggressive, abusive, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in cancellation of your booking without refund.

Force Majeure

Radio Cruise Parking shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in service due to events beyond our control. These include, but are not limited to, adverse weather conditions, industrial action, traffic disruptions, cruise cancellations, and acts of terrorism or vandalism.

Data Protection

We comply with GDPR. Personal data collected during booking and use of our services is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to this processing, including CCTV monitoring for security and safety.

 

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Personal data collected during the booking process is used solely for service delivery, operational purposes, and customer support. Our site is monitored by CCTV for security and safety. By using our services, you consent to the collection and processing of this data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not share your information with third parties unless required by law or with your explicit consent.
